Bush's job approval rating is at 34 percent, but his favorability rating is an even-worse 29 percent. In other words, 5 percent of the people are happy with the job he's doing, but don't like him. I thought he was supposed to be the guy that all of Red State America was supposed to want to take to a bar to watch NASCAR. Maybe we can count on him being extra-folksy in the next week, kind of a brush-clearing, right-wing, Faulknerian idiot, "Earnest saves Washington" kind of character.
By the way, spyware isn't the way to win them back...
