Ummm...Why does this box on my job application say "Religion?"

Y'know, it would be great if all of these Republicans yammering about choosing strict adherents to the constitution would actually read the damn thing. I'm also thinking that it would be a trip to find a location using this religious test and fill Pastafarian or "Member in good standing, Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" in the blank.
The House voted Thursday to let Head Start centers consider religion when hiring workers, overshadowing its moves to strengthen the preschool program’s academics and finances.
