It's the Constitution, Stupid!

I'm still hoping for a good old fashioned Supreme Court seperation of powers rebuke. The refusals to hear the Schiavo case were a good start, but the constitution is under attack here. We really needed them to stand up and say "What part of ex post facto don't you understand?" and firmly state why they rejected the cases. I'm also hoping for the legislative branch to speak with one voice and less than politely notify the president that they have the responsibility to choose whether or not to declare war, but I'm not holding my breath.
