Sucks to be Jeb

OK, try this on for a hypothetical. Let's say you're a governor of a state. Let's say it's Florida. Your brother asks you to help out some wingnuts who helped him out in his last election. Now you, the governor, have always paid them lip service, but you've also kind of kept them at arm's length.

So you help them out, and next thing you know, 50 of them show up at your house while you're at work. They've got this wacky idea about you deploying the national guard to try and give water to a woman in a vegetative state. And then one of them gets out a megaphone and starts screaming at your gardener.

That's got to suck. See the video from CNN here

Update from Atrios: Rev. Mahoney (the guy with the megaphone yelling at the gardener) is now calling Jeb a coward. Think twice over calling a Bush a coward; that's how countries get invaded.
As part of this event Jeb Bush would have publicly read from a printed program that includes the following text entitled the Fifth Station of the Cross; "Lord Jesus, sometimes I don't want to do what is right or to help someone in need, but you want me to respond positively to the needs of others in my life. Help me to say 'yes' and be willing to give heroic assistance to all who are in need."

"It is clear that Governor Bush canceled his scheduled participation in this Stations of the Cross service out of fear and guilt of seeing supporters of Terri Schiavo pleading for her life. Our prayer for Governor Bush is the same prayer he would have prayed publicly on this Good Friday, had he kept his scheduled appointment.

My "personal fav" are the statements like: "There must be way for Bush -or BUSH II -- to use their "EXECUTIVE POWER" to step and take control of this situation." That must be the EXECUTIVE POWER on another planet, in another world, in a galaxy far-far-away...or one of them DICTATORSHIPs where those Priviledged Executives get to Run Amok in violation of the Rule Of Law, The Constitution and the Federal and State Courts. Oh, Yeah...those are my favorite kind of places and rules to live under. Bring it on...LOL. The Rough-Shod Ride Again!
