Issues that get swept under the rug

Just read the following over at Jenniebee, and she's isolated the finer points of the culture of life.
Wrongful convictions have put an alarming number of people on death row. And while Our Busto advised state judges that it is "wise to always err on the side of life," and especially wise if you don't want the Feds jumping in to take the case out of your hands if you don't, it's hard to forget that this same man has signed more death warrants than any other president in recent memory. His political sympathy for Terry Schiavo recalls to my mind his mockery of Karla Faye Tucker's plea for clemency. Take a lesson, ladies: this prez doesn't like girls who talk too much.
