That didn't take long

Sometimes, I read the right wing blogs to try and understand what passes for conservative thought. If anyone wants to read Little Green Footballs or Free Republic, you can read the ill-punctuated oratory of some future Fox journalists. They're discussing the reporter who filmed the shooting of the injured combatant in Fallujah and how he should be killed by the troops he's embedded with.

To wit, LGF #19:

the media slug should watch out for stray ricochets... if ya know what i mean...

And from Free Republic:

No need for anything overt. Unfortunate things happen in combat zones, and if the reporter fails to hear someone yell "Sniper!!", well, c'est la guerre.

And a blog page from someone who has evidently learned to type without having evolved a thumb. Thank god I live in a blue state.

Update: Apparently, the marine doing the shooting had been shot in the face the previous day. Again, I hope upon hope that there's an explanation, but it really needs to be investigated in the open because it looks terrible.
